Capítulo 8. El aniversario

1. El tren llega a Tarragona a su hora. Pilar va directamente a casa, pero en las escaleras, ve algunas cosas extrañas: globos de colores, cartulinas rojas en forma de corazón, rosas rojas.
2. “¡Qué raro!” Piensa “Tal vez hay una fiesta de cumpleaños. No lo entiendo.”
3. Cuando Pilar llega a su apartamento, abre la puerta y… ¡Sorpresa!
4. Javier está en su casa. Está sentado en el sofá leyendo un libro. En la mesa está la cena preparada, un pastel y un regalo para Pilar, y también las llaves de la casa de Javier que se había olvidado!
5. Pilar está muy contenta. Besa y abraza a Javier y le explica su horrible día en Barcelona. Al final cenan y celebran su aniversario… en el fondo ha sido un día muy especial.

Chapter 8. The Anniversary

1. The train arrives at Tarragona on time. Pilar goes straight home but, as she climbs the stairs she sees some strange things: coloured balloons, red heart-shaped cards, red roses.
2. “How strange” she thinks “maybe there’s a birthday party. I don’t understand.”
3. When Pilar reaches her apartment, she opens the door and …..surprise!
4. Javier is inside. He’s sitting on the sofa reading a book. On the table, dinner is ready and there’s a cake and a present for Pilar. Also, there are the keys to Javier’s place that she forgot earlier!
5. Pilar is very happy. She hugs and kisses Javier, and tells him about her terrible day in Barcelona. Finally they eat and celebrate their anniversary… in the end it has been a very special day.
